Circles & Stones release their second EP “The Echo of Us” by the talented Dutch duo Huminal. The 3-track journey is in itself a wonderland of sounds and details to discover, and gives us a glimpse of the full range of their magic: from gentle melancholia to driving deepness to simple melodic sonic worlds, all the while telling three individual stories. This is an EP that showcases their signature elegance and flair in sound design, which is influenced by their love for cinematic film scores and vivid soundscapes full of aural art. The title bearing opener “The Echo of Us”, named aptly to “echo” the immense fun they had during the production process, was born into existence in a moment of musical release, jamming and letting creativity flow free. The result is this beautiful track: if you listen closely you can hear the sound of water dripping in a cave and embedded in an array of unique sounds, percussive elements and a distinct groove that gently cradles its counterparts.
