Wynton's Haydn sparkles with spontaneity, vibrant tone, and thrilling technique. The viruoso display on the cadenzas will make your hair stand on end. The Hummel is equally brilliant but I must really sing the praises of the middle movement. It just melts. I lend this disc out constantly to my trumpet students.
