9pm At The Diner

9pm At The Diner

It’s probably not necessary to introduce the duo Audiojack. Their consistently high-quality and timeless output has shaped the electronic music scene for decades. To this day, they achieve what many strive for but few accomplish: their music is accessible, yet carries undeniable street credibility. Catchy, groovy, infused with heart and a distinct signature style. Their release on klaus:elle delivers on all these promises and is tailor-made for the festival and outdoor season. “The idea for 9pm At The Diner was born when we came across the dusty old chords sample, which reminded us of classic 80s movies, and conjured up feelings of an imagined American youth, riding around on BMXs, going for milkshakes and burgers at the diner etc, so we kept that nostalgic vibe in mind and created the track around that theme. It’s the sort of track we might play at an outdoor summer party as the sun goes does, feelgood vibes all round.” - say Rich & Jamie from Audiojack. Since we love unusual combinations, Madmotormiquel contributes a remix that once again tears down the already meaningless boundaries of genre. And because klaus:elle is dedicated to making the local music scene heard, the second remix comes from a Zurich-based artist who doesn’t make a big fuss about himself – instead, he lets his music do the talking. David Aurel rounds out this exciting package with a deep tech interpretation of 9am At The Diner.
