
A Chance for Peace
Socially Conscious Songwriters Sing for Peace Education The Chance for Peace project has released a compilation CD to benefit Morningside Center, formerly Educators for Social Responsibility. The project showcases a message of hope and a new vision for the future by award-winning songwriters, vocalists and musicians in response to the events of September 11th and the subsequent conflicts. The project's CD compilation, produced by Media Dream Productions, is entitled, "A Chance for Peace" and features Nina Mankin, Sam Hooper, Tuesday May Thomas, Johnny Black, Casey Holford, Robin Franzblau and The 5GZ, among others. All proceeds will benefit Morningside Center which provides teachers with a curriculum of peace education for the New York City School System . ESR Metro was founded in 1982 by educators concerned about the dangers of nuclear war. Their mission is to help people develop the skills and convictions they need to shape a just, peaceful, and democratic society. Morningside Center's work is
