ELV is a Brooklyn, New York based rock n'roll band. Their sound is an edgy blend of 70's classic rock fused with 90's pop rock (Think the Cure)and alternative rock. The band's major influences range from tho Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, U2, G&R, Lenny Kravitz, to the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pearl jam and Nirvana- just to name a few. The Covered With Darkness album, the band's debute cd, is a blend of hard riffs, melodic grooves, and head bopping rythms. While the sound has a very familiar feel, the catchy hooks and bridges are as original as you'll find.
