We approached this album by striving to enter into our highest state during the two months we set aside for recording. We rose early to enjoy the Florida mornings, ambling out each new day to sit on the shore of the Caloosahatchee River (which runs right by the studio) while we slipped into a more relaxed state from which to give our music, incorporating breathing and sacrament, practicing awareness techniques, discussing philosophy, eating close to the earth. Through these practices we tried to stay outside of our customary daily routines and selves, so that we could more readily call forth a work of love. It is our hope that through our music we can bring some peace to the world and evoke this same relaxed state in all who listen.
