John Henry & the EarthShakers were born when a bluegrass picker by the name of John Henry was chased out of McPherson, Kansas by a renegade band of gypsy gnomes . He made it all the way to Fayetteville, Arkansas where he met the classic rock guitarist Will Van Laningham. To complete the tri-force John Henry dispatched a magical unicorn to fetch his long time friend, drummer Brennan Johnson. They continue to battle the mighty Wampus cat in the Boston Mountains in Fayetteville with their genuine and powerful sound.
