What I do is New American Pop/Rock with a Retro-British Sound and Feel. Additionally, the music on this CD is a throwback to the years when pop/rock songs were more well-structured. The structure of those songs was mainly due to the influence of the Beatles and others on the songwriting culture of the time. This music shares those same influences, and attention to structure: These songs have unique intros to kick them off and strong endings (\"outros\", if you like) to tie them up at the end. They have catchy and memorable melodies and harmonies throughout the verses and choruses to catch the ear. They feature bridges (or \"middle-eights\") with music that appears nowhere else in the song in order to develop it - to take it somewhere new. They all have cool guitar and keyboard sounds; some jangly, some edgy - and they\'re played accordingly - supported by a powerful and melodic drums and bass section to keep things moving.
