Jazmin: Finally Free Jazmin Miranda was raised in Piscataway, New Jersey. Since she was a child, Jazmin always attended church and grew up in a Christian home. She developed a strong interest in singing, dancing, and acting at a very young age and began taking professional classes to further develop and perfect these interests. Her biggest dreams were to become a successful R&B singer. Through the years she tried every opportunity she could get in the secular world. She would often take trips to New York City to audition for shows such as American Idol, Showtime at the Apollo, Star Search, etc. She was slightly discouraged when these doors weren’t opened, but she never gave up. By the age of 19, Jazmin began trying to make an R&B album, but things just weren’t working the way she had planned. Jazmin was always active in the church.
