For my geeky music friends who might be interested in the back end info: The song is bare, honest and to the point. I wanted that "less is more" idea to carry through to the recording technique. So, the recorded tracks in this song have no audio effects (reverb, auto-tune...NEVER!, Chorus, etc.) with the exception of delay on the lead vocal track during the chorus, the verses are dry. A very small amount (5%) of reverb was added during the mastering process to blend the tracks together. Also, no filler instruments were used such as strings, synths, organ, white noise and such. The end product is a bit raw sounding, and that is what I was
