Steve Yackey and Angelina Smith Yackey form a new band, shortened to Steve & Angelina, in the indie genre, incorporating many other genres such as soul, funk, blues, and jazz along the way. Steve and Angelina originally met and performed together on the Akron circuit of open mics, covering many popular artists, as well as including many original music and improvisational guitar pieces. Now, this album was recorded to be released the day after their wedding to symbolize the fusion of two very different styles of music, into one genre unique of its own accord, as well as to fuse their love of each other and of music. This album was fully written, performed, and produced by both Steve Yackey and Angelina Smith Yackey.
