Let's Make Out is an exploration of what happens when something innocent (having a drink, kissing a girl, singing a song) is taken to the extreme.  The songs live in the neon soaked drug fueled nightlife scene of America - where people gather together to beat up their bodies in search of something more transcendent than day to day life.  "Mary Anne" is sort of like if Weezer and Pavement tried to play together.  "Joan" contains the lyrical touches of Randy Newman.  "Let's Make Out" is a yearning ballad reminiscent of Neil Young.  Just listen for yourself...
