I grew up in long island on the weekdays and Harlem on the weekends. I know... Its complicated. I always had a passion for music but began writing lyrics in 4th grade. My lyrics back then were more like poem with a rhyme scheme. I often used jazz music as a template for most of my pieces. I enjoy jazz music for many reason, but one in particular stands out to me... It is the way it sets the mood. I try to set the mood with every song I write. My goal is to share a piece of myself to the world with great integrity.
