A follow up to her Debut self titled record in the year 2000, Angela Harris and Eric Reed co-produced 'Roots' in 2004 and released it under a 3 year licensing deal with Maximum/Universal Music Canada in 2005. Finding a home in the Folk/Roots genre, 'Roots' did well, garnering a West Coast Music Award nomination for Roots Album of the Year and 4 BCCMA nominations, including Female Artist of the Year and SOCAN Songwriter of the Year for the title track "Roots (Can Grow Anywhere).
