Birmingham, UK, Hardcore Punk band Scraper have re-released their 1996 album, Built with Hate, exactly 21 years after it was originally unleashed. The album is being made available in digital format for the first time, as the original release was exclusively on 10” vinyl (first 500 on alien blue wax), by Household Name Records in conjunction with Tribal War Records U.K. The tracks have been re-mastered by founding member Paul Green for this very 21st Anniversary special self-release. Paul tracked down and secured the release of the original production masters late last year, making this digital version possible. Scraper formed in Birmingham in 1994 - and comprised of Nigel Smethills (Guitars , Vocals), Paul Green (Bass Guitar) and Richard Childe (Drums, Vocals). In the 90’s Scraper played all over the UK, both as headline and support, sharing a stage with the likes of Reef, Daisy Chainsaw, China Drum, Doctor Bison, Tribute to Nothing, Goober Patrol, The Flying Medallions, The Glory Strummers, Hooton 3 Car, Broccoli, Toast, Bender, Marker, and The Venus Beads to name but a few.
