A DJ and producer for over 22 years now there isn't much that Mr Black hasn't done in the clubs scene from DJ'ing & running nights at some of the biggest clubs on the white isle of Ibiza (Es paradis, Eden, Plastik) to some of the most well known clubs in the U.K. (Ministry of sound, Turnmills and the Cross), and more recently being label manager of Black Plastik records. Mr Black started his dj career at the mere age of 12, and over the years has played various styles of music starting on old skool hip hop then moving into the rave/jungle/garage & what are now referred to as club classics scene but is more recently known for playing funky/tribal and tech house and also breaks. Over the years he has had the good fortune to work alongside people such as Matt jam Lamont, the Rat pack , Slipmatt, Trevor nelson, Tim Westwood , DJ Ez and the late great Tony de vit to just name a few. Recently he has spent a lot of time in the studio producing and remixing for artist and for his own label which he records under the alias Mr Black, The Collective, Shortfuse, SX boy & Onyx . as well as releasing martial own labels such as Neptuun City and Maintain Replay records which have reached number 1 on charts such as track it downs top 100 tech house tunes and beat ports must hear top February house tunes, Mr Black is also one 3rd of the house trio the bearded house junkies along side dj's Robberto and dj Slim who perform 3 way djs set over 4 decks showing off tight mixing scratching and sampling in one set.
