Sorcery Records are pleased to present their next release: Thoughts by Oldfix. Remixes for this package include Sunny Lax, Max Denoise, DJ Ives M & DJ T.H. and Gadom. The Original Mix is Progressive/Uplifting Trance in style and features melodic phrases and basslines overlaid by chorded synths and stabs. The rhythms drop away during the breakdown where a new melodic sequence is introduced. DJ Ives M & DJ T.H. provide the first remix for this package. Built up from scratch, it is more upbeat in feel compared to the Original with driving basslines and percussion. The breakdown is atmospheric, providing an opportunity for the track to rebuild. Max Denoise 's remix is more Progressive in feel and has a funky feel provided by basslines. In the breakdown Max introduces a vocal which was recorded specifically for the remix before the track drops into Max's characteristic sound of edgy synth basslines and clever use of percussion. Just to keep you on your toes, the remix changes again with chorded stabs and pads before it drops back into the basslines that drive the track forward. This is really different to the Original. In his usual way, Sunny Lax has created a peak time anthem for his remix. The track builds in a way that is similar to the Original Mix before dropping away into the breakdown. Here a new melody is created which builds into the main body of the track which then develops further with addition of further synth sounds and fx. This is one of the grand master's favourite remixes. We hope you like it too. Gadom has slowed the pace of his remix creating a Progressive house track.
