For our 22nd release we welcome another French artist into the Amalgm8 Musiq Techno Family. Sammy Ruggiero aka Sammy has produced 3 solid slices of ear pie for us in the shape of his MIND ep. Consisting tracks MIND 01 , MIND 02, and MIND 03. Welcome into the Mind of Sammy. MIND 01 is a deep dark hypnotic track with driving percussion and the dirtiest bass synthline we have heard in ages, this track sets the tone nicely and promises more really underground gear to come and Sammy certainly delivers on point with MIND 02 which comes out of the gates kicking them down with a pounding kick drum and rolling sub bass. Subtle and sparse hats flutter in and out of the mix moving it forward as the synths arrive and pitch up and down to evolve into the deeply hypnotic break and then all hell breaks loose with a filthy bass wonkiness and sci fi pads and bleeps. Sammy closes out his huge debut ep with track 3, MIND 03 which starts off with a wicked atmospheric intro before a crazy frenetically addictive kick pattern develops and propels the track and hordes of ravers into overdrive. This track is a wild untamed beast with glitched out timestretched synths that scream in some alien binary tongue, the relentless shakers and pounding kick not letting up right till the end.
