"Change of Beauty" is the name of an orchestra suite which Herbert Joos premiered on the occasion of being awarded the 2017 Baden-Wurrtemberg Jazz Prize for Lifetime Achievement. It shows a way of summing up the principles of orchestral richness and a return to the transparency of individual instruments.
